Squash Marlborough Incorporated (SMI) was formed mid 2007 and formally incorporated in February 2008.

SMI intends to be the main point of contact for squash events and activities in the region e.g. National Squash Open Weekend, and any events that are not tied to any particular club - such as competitions like Interclub, the Heaphy Challenge etc, where competitors are drawn from all clubs in the region.

The purpose of Squash Marlborough Inc is to apply for funding for the local Squash Development Officer (SDO), give guidance and direction to the SDO, control & direct Interclub Squash Competitions in Marlborough, and be responsible for liaising with Squash Wellington and all clubs in the Marlborough region.
